Street Cuts NFT FAQ
STREET CUTS NFT STORE
Street Cuts is selling a wide and growing array of world class NFTs from street artists around the world in our NFT Store.
What are STREET CUTS NFTS
Street Cuts NFT are created by Street Artists exclusively for our platform.
Some of the art is "cut from the street". That is an original piece of street art, photographed, with a portion cut out and turned into an NFT. When you buy one of these limited cuts you're owning a piece of history from a particular time and place.
Others are "original digitals" created directly and only for our space integrating the themes and works of the artists. Watch out!
You will see each marked and indicated in the store.
All the work is world class, original, limited, and infinitely collectible!
WHAT IS STREET CUTS?
Street Cuts is dedicated to making street art digital. Working with, and only with, the original artists, we are building a collective platform that extends the life of the original work through channels such as digital (and real) stickers and Digital Collectible NFTs
For the fan, Street Cuts are a fun way to explore, share, collect, and support street art.
I Don't have a "crypto wallet" or even know what crypto is, can I buy one?
These are Polygon NFTS? (GEEK ALERT)
All NFTs are minted as Polygon NFTS. Here is a link to more information. But essentially Polygon is a "layer 2" solution that sits on top of the Ethereum network. Because it's layer 2, the costs to transact are much lower, hence no gas fees when buying, selling, and trading. And more important it uses something called "Proof of Stake" instead of "Proof of Work" to validate ownership and minting which greatly reduces the carbon footprint that has been read about.

I'M A STREET ARTIST, HOW DO I GET MY WORK ON STREET CUTS?
Our collective is growing—by invitation-only. But we haven't met everyone yet, so if you're a real, working street artist and want to pitch us an idea for your own pack, email dusty@streetcuts.co.
WHERE DOES THE ART COME FROM!
From the artists themselves! Street artists contribute all the art on the stickers. Some sticker packs are designed just for Street Cuts, but most of them are "cut from the street"—created from actual street art, usually photographed on location by co-founder The Dusty Rebel, and turned into digital stickers.
ARE YOU TAKING ART OFF THE STREET WITHOUT PERMISSION?
Fuck no! All art for sale is chosen and approved by the street artist—it's their art, they own it. Share about your stickers within our terms of service but please no repurposing for commercial endeavors.
